Star Wars: Episode I Racer for the Nintendo 64 is, in my opinion, a surprisingly fast and immersive racing game that brings the iconic podrace from The Phantom Menace to life. The game does an excellent job of conveying the intensity of high-speed racing. With its groundbreaking speed for the time and a sense of adrenaline that I found unmatched back then, it was a remarkable experience. It did take me a while to get the hang of the controls, but once I did, I enjoyed the thrilling races all the more.
Visually, Star Wars Episode I Racer makes great use of the N64's capabilities. The impressive environments and atmospheric soundtrack enhance the Star Wars vibe wonderfully.
